Rudy Giuliani seriously injured after being hit by a car traveling at high speed

Spokesperson for Rudy Giuliani, Michael Ragusa, confirmed, 'Mayor Giuliani was flagged down by a woman who was a victim of domestic violence prior to the accident.'

Rudy called 911 for the woman and was hit at high speed by another car as he was re-entering his parked vehicle late Saturday night in New Hampshire.

81-year-old Giuliani fractured his vertebrae and had multiple lacerations and contusions after his rental car was hit from behind according to Michael Ragusa.

'He is great spirits following the incident. He is fully alert and conscious and his medical team is pleased with his progress,' Ragusa said.
