Jewish rally at U.S. Capitol calls for ceasefire after media ignites worldwide conflict

Protesters from If Not Now When and Jewish Voices for Peace demanding a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war were arrested after staging an anti-Israel demonstration and mobbing the Capitol building, the Daily Caller reports. If Not Now When describes itself as a group of “American Jews organizing our community to end U.S. support for Israel’s apartheid system and demand equality, justice, and a thriving future for all.” Jewish Voices for Peace claims to represent “Jews organizing toward Palestinian liberation and Judaism beyond Zionism.” source

Jewish Voices for Peace is a 'Jewish pro-Palestine' group protesting in the Cannon House office building at Capitol Hill.

T-shirts appear to read, 'NOT IN OUR NAME' on the front and 'JEWS SAY CEASE FIRE NOW' on the back.

Arrests in progress. Protesters appear to be waiting to be arrested individually. Reports say it is unknown how they entered the building as barricades were put in place in response to widespread protests across the country and the rest of the world.

Storm the cannon building holding giant signs saying 'CEASEFIRE' evokes 'hands up don't shoot.'

Earlier during the live stream protesters could be seen holding Palestinian flags.
