Jack Posobiec and Charlie Kirk built a close personal and professional friendship over more than a decade in conservative politics and media. Posobiec has repeatedly described Kirk as one of his best friends, a brother, a fellow soldier, and even his "commanding officer."
They first crossed paths in the mid-2010s on the conservative circuit. Posobiec has recounted an early encounter at CPAC, followed by picking Kirk up from the airport for an Eagle Forum event organized by Ed Martin in St. Louis. From there they kept running into each other at events, eventually realizing they were "rowing in the same direction." The relationship deepened through shared work rather than casual socializing. As Posobiec put it, it was more "let’s go into battle" than hanging out to watch movies.
Posobiec became a TPUSA contributor and hosted Human Events Daily on the organization’s platform starting around 2021. He appeared frequently on The Charlie Kirk Show, traveled with Kirk for events and tours, and they collaborated on media projects. They were photographed together on Election Night 2024.

Faith formed a central part of their bond. Both men were devout Christians. Posobiec has said they prayed together often and that Kirk texted Bible verses every morning to close friends and family. They spent late nights not just planning strategy but asking for God’s guidance. Kirk’s true "weapon," in Posobiec’s words, was "the sword of the Spirit." One personal story Posobiec shared: when Kirk lost his voice before a Penn State event, he texted Posobiec that "the kids are waiting." Posobiec flew out, grabbed a bullhorn when the sound system failed, and they worked the crowd together. Kirk later told him, "God bless you."
After Kirk was assassinated on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University, Posobiec became one of the most visible voices honoring him. He published a Fox News tribute calling Kirk "one of my best friends" and a servant of God. He spoke at the funeral alongside President Trump and Vice President Vance, filled in on Kirk’s show while leaving an empty chair on set, attended court proceedings in Utah to support Erika Kirk and the family, and has continued appearing at TPUSA events. He has said he would trade his platform and following just to have his friend back.
Their friendship was forged in the high-pressure world of political activism—long hours, travel, shared fights, and a common Christian conservative worldview. Posobiec has framed it as a brotherhood of people fighting the same battles. While some online voices have questioned the closeness or Posobiec’s post-assassination prominence, his public statements and actions have been consistent in portraying Kirk as a close personal friend and collaborator.
