Israel caught using Western media to spread confusing messages says Egypt

IDF ground invasion into Gaza has still not happened after Israel cut power and water to Gaza two weeks ago. Israel urged civilians in Gaza to travel south toward the Rafah crossing where a spokesman for Egypt's Foreign Ministry now assigns blame to Israel for hitting Rafah with airstrikes and for allegedly refusing aid to enter the Gaza Strip.

(10/13/23) Egypt’s Sisi Refuses to Take in Palestinians: ‘Must Remain on Their Land’ Egyptian strongman Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, reportedly speaking at a military graduation on Thursday, urged residents of Gaza to “remain on their land” rather than attempt to relocate away from the violence of the jihadist terror group Hamas and any potential retaliation from the Israeli government.

The government of Israel urged over 1 million people in northern Gaza to evacuate as soon as possible on Friday in anticipation of a military siege against Hamas targets. Hamas routinely uses Palestinians as human shields, building up weapons stockpiles and establishing operational headquarters in civilian areas, forcing the Israeli government to announce military operations in advance in an attempt to save Palestinian lives.

Since the start of the Israel war on Gaza in the aftermath of the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October, President El-Sisi has repeatedly stressed Egypt's rejection of the Israeli policies of collective punishment against the civilian population in the strip and any attempt to displace the residents of Gaza to the Sinai Peninsula.

Aid to Gaza still waiting

Egypt has organized urgent relief for the Palestinians in Gaza with tens of trucks carrying humanitarian aid, donated by Egypt and various Arab countries, ready to cross the Rafah border crossing with Gaza to deliver food and medicine.

However, Israel has refused to allow aid to enter the besieged Gaza Strip.

Previous reports claim Israel urged civilians in Gaza to move south by turning on the water there. Then Egypt later claimed (above) that Israel launched strikes against that area driving civilians back north. Biden promised aid to Gaza, but reports of U.N. aid at the Rafah crossing cannot reach civilians because Israel is reportedly bombing the area of Gaza where civilians were told to retreat.
