PHOENIX, AZ — A death investigation is underway after Phoenix police discovered a woman's remains in a residential alleyway near 27th and Glendale avenues early Sunday morning, June 1, 2025. According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a call at approximately 6:30 a.m. after a report of a body in the alley. Upon arrival, they found the remains of an unidentified woman.
