A shocking incident occurred in Melbourne’s southeast, where an Uber Eats driver tried to fight off three 17-year-old boys who allegedly stole his car after a stranger jumped into the vehicle seconds after he left it to drop off an order.
According to CCTV footage, the driver parked his Toyota Camry outside a house and stepped out to deliver an order. However, a teen jumped into the car and reversed it in an attempt to drive off. The driver rushed back to the car and tried to stop the thief, but was kicked several times by the teenager. Another teen then emerged from an allegedly stolen ute and punched the driver from behind, knocking him to the ground.
The three teens, from Reservoir, Oakleigh, and Langwarrin, were later charged with aggravated home invasion and aggravated carjacking. 17GEN4.com
