When is Trump going to sign an Executive Order making eVerify mandatory so that all of these great new jobs he is bringing to America don't end up going to illegals?

There’s no official announcement yet on when or if President Trump will sign an executive order making E-Verify mandatory for all employers. During his campaign and since taking office in January 2025, Trump has focused heavily on immigration enforcement and job protection for American citizens, but specific plans for E-Verify haven’t been detailed publicly as of April 3, 2025.

E-Verify is already a federal program that allows employers to check the legal work status of employees, but it’s only mandatory for certain federal contractors and in some states. Trump could push for broader use through an executive order, which aligns with his promises to curb illegal immigration and prioritize American workers. He’s already signed orders targeting benefits for undocumented immigrants and boosting border security, so an E-Verify mandate could fit into that agenda.

That said, no timeline has been confirmed. It’d likely depend on his administration’s priorities, congressional support, and how quickly they can roll out enforcement mechanisms. If he does it, expect it soon—Trump’s been moving fast on immigration, with multiple orders already in his first months. 17GEN4.COM
