What is the difference between Default and Turbo models ChatGPT-3 ?

Updated: May 30, 2023

Default and Turbo are two different variants of the GPT-3 language model offered by OpenAI.

The Default model is the standard version of GPT-3, which has 175 billion parameters and is optimized for a balance between performance and cost. It offers high accuracy and strong performance across a wide range of natural language processing tasks.

The Turbo model, on the other hand, is a more powerful version of GPT-3, with 300 billion parameters. It offers even higher accuracy and performance, but at a significantly higher cost. The Turbo model is generally only used in specialized applications where the highest levels of performance are required, such as in natural language generation for marketing or customer service.
