My web hosting platform keeps telling me to enter my phone number and turn on 2FA, but the last time I did that they were very unreliable and occasionally just did not send the code to the phone, preventing me from logging in.


FYI - they tell you that you need to give them your phone number to secure the account when the phone number is what unauthorized parties use to compromise the account. You are never safer by giving any entity more of your personal information. Doing the thing they tell you to do to keep you safe is what leads to hacking the account. axiom protocol


Most e-mail from companies you do business with is totally useless. They often direct you to login to the account... If you have something to tell me, use the notification feature inside the account that is visible to the user once they are logged in. Nothing that any of these companies are doing is protecting your account or your privacy.

Hover madness. Please stop with the reactive popups 'info boxes' when moving the cursor anywhere on the website. Note to web designers - the interface should not look like a barrage of strobe lights attacking the user.


Oh, and by the way, autosave default setting is 'off' not 'on'. Everybody knows this.
