SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A 28-year-old woman was arrested on DUI-related charges, including "extreme DUI," after colliding with a stationary police vehicle at a traffic stop, the Scottsdale Police Department reported.

Jensen Borkowski, identified as the driver, had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) exceeding .15 percent, according to authorities, classifying the incident as an "extreme DUI" under Arizona law. The crash occurred when Borkowski’s vehicle struck the back of a police car, which was stopped while officers were conducting a separate traffic stop.

Scottsdale Police Department officials stated that Borkowski was taken into custody at the scene. No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing. The charges highlight Arizona’s strict DUI laws, which impose harsher penalties for BAC levels above .15 percent.

Further details regarding Borkowski’s court proceedings or additional charges were not immediately available. The Scottsdale Police Department urges drivers to avoid operating vehicles under the influence and to arrange alternative transportation to ensure public safety.
