Russia Deploys Mega-Bomb in Ukraine Attack

On June 20, 2024, Russia reportedly used a FAB-3000 UPMK module guided bomb for the first time in an attack on the village of Lyptsi in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The bomb, weighing three tons with a warhead of 1.2 tons, missed its intended target by approximately 15 meters but caused significant damage to the area. The FAB-3000 is noted for its large blast radius of 230 meters and the lethal range of its fragments extending up to 1240 meters.
