Multiple People, Including Children, Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ — A serious two-vehicle collision near 43rd and Sweetwater avenues in Phoenix on Sunday evening, June 1, 2025, resulted in multiple people, including children, being rushed to the hospital. The incident, which occurred around 7:45 p.m., has left the community shaken, with one fatality reported and several others injured.


According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a crash involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, they discovered a chaotic scene, with emergency responders from the Phoenix Fire Department working to assist multiple individuals involved in the collision. At least three adults and two children were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, police confirmed. Tragically, one woman succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, while the remaining victims are expected to survive, though their conditions have not been fully disclosed.
