The manager decided to come forward anonymously after learning one of the employees his group was directed to cyberstalk for the purposes of gaslighting in the workplace revealed one of the employees became suicidal.
A current manager at an unnamed company, outspoken for its commitment to social justice and progressive values, has come forward with explosive allegations, claiming the company fostered a culture of systemic gaslighting and compulsive lying to create the perception of a hostile work environment. The manager turned whistleblower, who has chosen to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, provided internal documents and communications that appear to reveal a directive from senior leadership encouraging deceptive practices to create the perception of an intimidating and hostile work environment targeting specific employees who work at the company.
Managers repeatedly issued instructions to employees and then immediately followed up with statements that were contradictory to what they had just said. Employees were subjected to staged events in the workplace designed to promote fear and intimidation. During one such incident, an employee tried to intervene during a blatant incident of retail theft and attempted to actively retrieve items from a 'customer' who casually attempted to exit the store with as many items as he could hold in both his hands without paying. This resulted in a physical altercation between the 'employee' and the 'customer.' The incident was never addressed or discussed further.
The management team reportedly created problems where none existed to propagate the perception of a highly dysfunctional workplace culture. During one such incident, a manager told an employee that another employee at the store robbed a customer at the store during employee's shift, but no action was taken following the incident. this obviously could not have been true to any reasonable person, but the incident was designed to send the message to that particular employee that they were being lied to at all times.
One employee was instructed to openly defy management and repeatedly criticize management policy and even engage 'customers' with staged conflicts. Then, management would blame other employees for the actions of the seemingly 'rogue' employee.
Another employee claimed to have been arbitrarily terminated and then reinstated after describing an incident that made no sense and involved contradictory narratives back to back first claiming to blame one manager for the misunderstanding and then another for the purposes of assisting management in gaslighting another employee.
The manager admitted that most of what an employee perceives about a company can be manipulated by what they hear from other employees and managers in the workplace and not actually what they see with their own eyes.
