AI software has been DIRECTLY attributed to thousands of suicide deaths across the U.S. And the proof of this is literally in writing as it pertains to LLMs.
"We don't know what it does." That is he phrase they use to raise BILLIONS of dollars from select groups of private investors. What a sales pitch.
"It hallucinates." What does that mean? You mean it gaslights people? You mean it lies? What does that mean? "Well, we have no idea what that means because we have no idea what it does, remember?"
"We have urged Congress to establish some guardrails because AI is going to destroy humanity. But how are they supposed to do that when, even we, the creators of AI, claim to have no idea what is does."
Notice that a 'query' (or interaction with) an LLM has now been redefined as a 'Chat' - making the user (victim) culpable for the output that hallucinates. Essentially blaming them for requesting specific instructions that led to their own death. This is not the case and is itself - hallucination.
AI is a word salad machine, if you want it to be. And that can be seen demonstrated by proven competent 'authority figures' both in the media and acting as federal and state and local governments in various official capacities. There are often not enough words being used and they certainly do not appear in the right order, and the wrong words are often misused, almost as if the individual speaking is hallucinating. This is apparently a problem with 'teleprompters' as well. Or, it could be the person who is re-imagining how a teleprompter is used as the garbage that rises to the top seems to defy the laws of gravity.
It is not a coincidence, still, that all of these errors seem to favor the political left and increasingly obstruct law enforcement. Do I have to paint you a picture?
