PHOENIX, AZ — December 15, 2025 — Erika Kirk, widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and current CEO of Turning Point USA, is meeting privately today with commentator Candace Owens in what both women describe as an effort toward a "productive conversation." The in-person discussion comes after weeks of public friction sparked by Owens' promotion of conspiracy theories surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination in September.

In a post on X late Sunday, Erika Kirk announced: "Candace Owens and I are meeting for a private, in-person discussion on Monday, December 15. @RealCandaceO and I have agreed that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are on hold until after this meeting. I look forward to a productive conversation. Thank you."Owens quickly responded, stating she was "very much looking forward to this discussion."

The meeting, reportedly ongoing for several hours as of Monday evening, marks the first direct dialogue between the two since tensions escalated. It also led to the postponement of a planned Turning Point USA livestream intended to address Owens' claims.Charlie Kirk, a prominent Trump ally and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Authorities charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson with aggravated murder and other felonies, describing it as the act of a lone shooter.

Owens, a former Turning Point USA employee who once described her relationship with Charlie Kirk as "brother and sister," has repeatedly questioned the official narrative. Her allegations have included suggestions of involvement by TPUSA insiders, U.S. government entities, American supporters of Israel, and even the French military—claims widely criticized as baseless by conservatives and law enforcement.

In a recent CBS News town hall, Erika Kirk directly addressed the speculation, saying simply, "Stop. That's it. That's all I have to say. Stop," while emphasizing the emotional toll on her family. The private summit has drawn mixed reactions within conservative circles, with some praising the de-escalation and others expressing skepticism. As the meeting continues without public updates, observers await any joint statement or further developments.

Details on the location and exact outcome remain undisclosed, in line with the agreed-upon pause on public commentary. 17GEN4.com
