Does it seem odd to anyone that nobody ever talks about the culture in Israel?

We see only bad news coming out of Israel. We never see pictures of the landscape that has not been bombed. Much of it has not, thankfully, because of the Iron Dome. We never see images of the lifestyle or the nightlife. We never see images of the art or hear the music or humanize the Israeli people in any way.
What kind of cars do they drive? What kind of clothes do they wear? What kind of houses do they live in? We never see anything about Israel unless we are speaking about skyline webcams and bombs.
We see anti-Israel pro-Palestine protesters invading the city streets in the USA. They are on college campuses, they block roadways, they hold parades and protest rallies promoting the victimization of the Israeli people. But we never see what the country of our greatest ally looks like.
Are there coffee shops, restaurants, places of entertainment where the people of Israel gather? Shopping malls, convenience stores, gas stations?
How much have the food prices increased in Israel during this time of crisis?
