The shooting in Glendale, Arizona, on May 4, 2025, at El Camaron Gigante Mariscos & Steakhouse during a Cinco de Mayo celebration resulted in three deaths—brothers Damien Anthony Sproule (17) and Christopher Juaquin Sproule (21), and Milo Christopher Suniga (21)—and five injuries, including a 16-year-old boy who required surgery but is expected to recover. The incident stemmed from a 200-300 people were at the family-friendly event when a fight between groups with a history of “bad blood” escalated into gunfire in the parking lot.
As of the latest reports from May 7, 2025, no suspects have been apprehended. Glendale Police detained several people for questioning but made no arrests. They released photos of persons of interest believed to have vital information, emphasizing these individuals are not suspects. A portal was set up for witnesses to submit photos and videos anonymously to aid the investigation. Police believe multiple shooters were involved and are still seeking public assistance to identify those responsible. The incident is considered isolated, with no ongoing threat to the community.
