A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of human remains found in two suitcases dumped on the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, UK. The man was detained at a train station in Bristol early on Saturday morning.
According to reports, the police received a call on Wednesday evening about a man acting suspiciously on the bridge, and when officers arrived, the man had disappeared, leaving behind two suitcases containing human remains. The remains were later identified as those of two adult males.
The arrested man is believed to be connected to the discovery of further human remains found at an address in Shepherd’s Bush, west London, which are thought to be connected to the suitcases found in Bristol.
The victims have not yet been formally identified, but police believe they know their identities and are working to locate and inform their next of kin. A 36-year-old man who was arrested in Greenwich, southeast London, on Friday in connection with the investigation has since been released without charge.
The police investigation is ongoing, with forensic officers working at the scene in Shepherd’s Bush and at the address in Bristol where the suitcases were found. 17GEN4.com
